SOCIETY RULES ME

In forest of free world
I took birth long ago,
From where I was moved
Introduced to new place;
Place governed by rules
Rules that guided me,
Obstructed my wishes
Dominated my thinking.

Always present when happy
Absent when I was sad,
Society it was nicknamed
But it's nothing more than zoo;
Tagging myself a social animal
I forced myself to feel proud,
Label that was passed on to me
Today I'm passing it forward.
